Welcome

Bristol Symphony Orchestra burst onto the classical music scene in 2016, as an exciting new orchestra made up of dynamic and talented players from across the region, and it quickly established itself as a leading ensemble in the Southwest. The orchestra was co-founded by violinists Pam Bell, Rob Tulloh and Aimée Cottam, with award-winning composer and conductor William Goodchild, and is now led by Principal Conductor Robert Weaver, supported by Associate Conductor Dave Ransom.

Leading duties are shared with Victoria Medland and Aimée Cottam, and Pam Bell continues as the director of the orchestra.

"This was a very professional production at every level, and how gratifying to hear such excellent playing from Bristol-based players and conductor.  A true credit to the city". (Rating * * * * *)
