Founded in 2016, the Bristol Symphony Orchestra brings together talented non-professional musicians alongside a number of professional players. Under Music Director Robert Weaver, BSO performs ambitious programmes spanning the symphonic tradition and contemporary works, and has collaborated with internationally renowned soloists including Isata Kanneh-Mason, Jennifer Pike, Rebecca Evans and Gareth Brynmor John. The orchestra performs regularly at St George’s Bristol and Clifton Cathedral and is known for its vibrant, engaging performances that combine artistry, community, and joy.
